St John’s Church, Spalding

St John Spalding has, as they say, been a long time in the making. My first visit to St Johns Church was over ten years ago. Needless to say there have been many changes in technology in that time, but there has also been many changes in the Churches vision of how St John’s would be.

Over the last twelve months the church has been completely renovated with a new chapel and office/vestry fitted at the west end of the church with a new entrance and reception area. The church complex also consists of an existing rear hall area used by the community as well as the church. The heating system we designed and installed consisted of a wall mounted condensing boiler sited in the existing boiler house which served radiators throughout the worship area and the newly formed reception and chapel area.

These newly constructed areas also benefit from a secondary electrical system for intermittent use when the main system is off. There is a second boiler that serves the rear hall complex as a separately operated zone. The whole of the area is time and temperature controlled by our Churchwarden WiFi system that allows remote operation via an iPad or phone.
