Christ Church, Staines Upon Thames
Christ Church is a modern church built in the 1960’s and fairly typical of the era, being a rectangular shaped church with a lofty central spire. Not surprisingly the church has a very large glass content which can magnify the warmth through the glass from the sun on sunny days, but also create droughts on the not too sunny days.
The scheme we designed for Christ Church was one consisting of a multiple of gas fired convectors heaters in the church which give a rapid warm up and heat the building incredibly well.
Another benefit to Christ Church was that this system was installed in two phases to dovetail in with other ongoing projects, something which would have been difficult to implement with other types of systems.
The system is controlled by our unique Churchwarden intelligent control system which efficiently manages time and temperature control.
Christ Church are now set up for all the adverse weather the coming winter can throw at them in the knowledge that their place of worship will remain warm and comfortable.
